Remotix 6.2 for Android released with new UI and support for Nougat features

A totally rewritten Remotix UI is rolling out from today in a new version of the Remotix VNC RDP Remote Desktop application for Android. In addition to a completely new design, this long anticipated update features a new extended keyboard, Android N multi-window support, app Shortcuts, and more. Below is a list of changes:

New Material Design

We've completely rewritten the Remotix user interface to make it a slick and visually appealing application, employing new material design.

New Phone-Optimized UI

As a part of redoing the design, we've implemented a completely new interface paradigm for Android phone users. The access to stored, nearby and cloud servers is now much easier.

New Extended Keyboard

The updated viewer extended keyboard dynamically adapts to the size of your device and has more useful key combinations.

Android N Multi-Window Support

Use this option to increase your productivity by running Remotix side-by-side with other apps.

App Shortcuts

We've also made it easier to access remote machines, giving you the ability to connect to the most recent servers right from Launcher menu.

Runtime Permissions

Instead of requiring permissions before installation, Remotix now asks in runtime. You no longer have to wonder why Remotix needs microphone permission unless you turn on audio recording redirection feature of RDP.

We have fixed the URL handling. Now you can run remote connections from other apps.

As always we'd be grateful for genuine Google Play reviews. Remotix development is driven by you and your feedback!

Remotix VNC RDP Remote Desktop 6.2 for Android is $9.95 and available for purchase on the Google Play.
